Cool Stance

CoolStance® for horses is a unique feed because it comes from coconut oil and fibre from coconut meal. CoolStance® coconut meal is suitable for most horses and can be fed to maintain a natural state of gut health and insulin sensitivity, i.e. normal insulin metabolism.

CoolStance® copra is made from the white part of the coconut, which has been dried, baked and ground.

CoolStance copra has been fed as a quality product to horses for over 20 years.

Feeding Guide

Introduce gradually over 14 days. May be fed wet or dry. To be fed with additional roughage such as hay or pasture to ensure diet of sufficient long fibre. Recommended dose for a 1000lb horse.

Weanlings and horses in spelling or recovery:
Per day: 1.1lbs - 2.2lbs
Broodmares: Increase to 6.6lbs/day in last trimester Per day: 2.2lbs - 6.6lbs
Wet mares: early lactation Per day: 6.6lbs - 8.8lbs
Wet mares: late lactation Per day: 4.4lbs
Performance horses: Light to medium work Per day: 2.2lbs - 4.4lbs
